Diets are simple; we’re all on one! A “diet” just means “what we take in.”

And “what we take in” is much more than what we put in our mouth three times a day. We consume constantly: media, advertising, feedback from family and friends, as well as the steady results of our life choices.

Full stop: when was the last time you thought about what you are taking in on a daily basis?

As a one-on-one health coach, I meet you where you are. There is no judgement and our in-person or online sessions are entirely confidential. Together, we’ll help you establish simple goals and make measurable steps to get there.

Do you want to lose a few pounds or get off the gain-and-lose crash diets? OK. What does that look like?

Depriving ourselves doesn’t work. Healthy living is all about choosing the right fuel for your body and making a plan to get that good fuel on a regular basis.

So you snuck a little ice cream last night? I’m not here to beat you up, but to help you listen to that inner voice that will help guide you to better choices.

We must ignore our inner critic – the little demon that says “You’re not enough.” Sometimes we set standards so high for ourselves that we don’t even know where to begin.

We’ll learn together to quiet that negative thinking, or at least to teach it to sit, stay, and heel.

It’s the same with exercise and life habits. Hard-core CrossFit workouts are great, and if that’s your thing I’m your biggest cheerleader, but a healthy regimen starts with doing something simple that you enjoy and want to continue doing.

Actions become habits, and I help clients come up with simple actions that make a difference and then become their good habits.

What habits do you want to stop? Let’s just start doing the opposite of them right now. It’s simple but not easy.

I’m here with a gentle (or maybe firm but loving) nudge in the right direction and with the feedback and resources you need to live a happier, healthier life.
